It’s been about a 10 months since Nintendo made an event pokémon available to the American public, and it seems like Shaymin is well on the horizon. If you visit www.pokemon.com , you will be treated to a bright silhouette of the Sky Warrior himself, though he is nothing more than a blur.
This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to the most apt of Trainers, though. Pokemon.com had performed similar events before the North American release of Manaphy in 2006 (in the form of an egg), and the North American release of Darkrai in 2007 (in the form of a shadow).
Of course, considering the past history of the Pokémon site, this silhouette probably indicates that Shaymin will soon be made available in North America in correspondence with the release of the new movie: Giratina and the Sky Warrior.
Unfortunately, no dates were officially released.

Manaphy was released in North America in fall 2007. Darkrai in May/June 2008.
The silhouette is probably for a D/P event announcement to go along with the Giratina movie, but it could also apply to the Card Game and it’s pretty well expected that the next series will include Shaymin.
I can’t wait either!

Apparently, its been announced that it’s officially coming out now, but not this year. Also, it apparently wont be able to be used with the flower of platinum unles you ALREADY have the flower. check out serebii for more information.
