Activity Explosion!
So yeah, I am completely floored by just how fast everything in the new forums has taken off. Over 150 members in less than a week? Over 2,000 posts in 274 threads? I guess you guys have really been waiting for this haven’t you?
I’m very glad to see all of this. Now I guess we gotta step up to the plate and keep things going. I’m trying to post everywhere that interests me as well as handle my already overwhelming number of friend invites. I’ll also have to dust off Pokemon Ranch and see what I need to trade for to finish my pokedex.
I’m sure I’ll get deeply involved in a few of the threads, but I’m still feeling out where I’ll pay the most attention to.
And most importantly, I should probably pick a few fights – Pokémon battles, not trolling – just to get the rust off the old strategy gears in my head.
I agree. All this activity is pretty flipping awesome, you know. We’re growing at an incredibly rate, and I love it!

Everybody should download the flyers and hang them up in places. That should boost us a lot more. We wouldn’t even have 2 personally give them. Just hang them up on a pull when nobody is looking.
Its funny you mention the old gears in your head, KC, because recently, the same is happening to me. Lately I’ve been playing A LOT of JRPG’s outside of pokemon on my DS, including FFIII and IV, The World Ends with You, as well as Castlevania Order of Ecclesia and Kirby Super Star Ultra. But with things coming up, like the retro pokemon month you guys mentioned last month(?) and the new site (which is AWESOME!), my love for the games has come back. And like you, I need to continue collecting for the pokedex (I have around 420 I think). But yeah, I’m excited about what’s to come because I’ll be honest, I wasn’t involved before. These new additions may bode well, so here’s hopin’!
I’ve only been listening to WTPT for a few months, and already I’m sucked in by the excitement here. I love how interactive the all around package is. I love that listening to the podcasts somewhat transports me to a headspace where I am a Pokémon trainer, out on the road somewhere. Not to mention that playing the games whilst simultaneously listening is awesome. If the forums prove to be as ’super effective’, I foresee greatly enjoying my time here. ^^
