Greetings everyone! We have recently added a brand new feature to the site: an Oekaki! Unfortunately, you will have to re-register to the Oekaki, since it will not use your Forum account. Please make your Oekaki name exactly the same as your Forum name!
Don’t know what an Oekaki is? Forum-member Rin has kindly written up a small guide to what an Oekaki is. Check it out after the break!

And lo, KC looked to the sky and it was a broken sky. Darkness tore it asunder and he knew the time of renewal was at hand. Thus, KC herded the pokémon two by two onto the ark so they might weather the storm and find a brighter future when the storm subsided.
Okay, enough of that bible talk. What happened last week had me worried about the safety of quite a few of my mons. For about six months now, my Wii has had a problem where bright backgrounds broke up and made black splotches in games. This had an effect similar to black pixelated vortexes tering open the sky, just like the contaminated fields in .hack.

It was recently revealed that Shaymin will be given out at Toy R Us stores from February 8th to the 14th. We have now learned of another event in which Regigigas will be given away. The event will take place from March 8th through the 21st. The pokémon will come at level 100, in a Cherish Ball. Its moveset includes Crush Grip, Icy Wind, Iron Head and Rock Slide. It will also be holding a Custap Berry.
The event Regigigas will allow trainers to unlock special areas in Pokémon Platinum where they can catch legendary pokémon Regice, Registeel and Regirock at level 30. In turn, these may then be used to catch the Regigigas at Snowpoint Temple, which is level 1 in Platinum.
It is somewhat bizarre that the event ends the day before Platinum is released, making it impossible to get this Regigigas directly to your Platinum cartridge.
Jowy and KC have guest, Randypanda to talk about Pokémon fangames and the WTPT Version game he is working on.

Attention Tribunites, we’ve been called into action! The oft cited “Pokemon Report” has published a challenge in their latest article about Pokemon world records. And I, being a petty, petty man, am taking the bait.
“So here we go kids, I’m calling on you. And that means YOU, guys at the Pallet Tribune,” Jack DeVries said in the article. “And you too, forum kids from PokeDream. And especially you Serebii.net hooligans. Get out there and prove your worth.”
DeVries listed several challenges, including scoring the highest overall in Pokémon Snap, various modes of Pokémon Puzzle Challenge and the Pokémon Theme in Donkey Konga. But the challenge isn’t limited to those games; practically anything that can be scored and is Pokémon related is fair game.
Just register with TwinGalaxies.com to post your high scores on their site. I’m not familiar with the site myself, or how they validate high scores, but I’m going to start looking into it today. I want our fans to OWN these records, and anyone who does make the cut, let us know and I’ll be glad to post about your records on a special post in the future. Just mention WTPT or The Pallet Tribune in your Twin Galaxies player profile so we know you’re one of ours.
I haven’t been this excited about high scoring since Nintendo Power’s “NES Achievers” section.

As we all know, the past two Pokemon movies are a part of trilogy that will ultimately lead up to Movie 12. It seems the third movie will have an interesting twist that will definitely turn some heads. If you pay close attention to the newly released calendar, you can see something interesting about the names of the showcased Pokemon.
At least one letter in their names are bolded. Place the red bold letters together, and you spell “A-R-C-E-U-S”. This is likely a confirmation that Arceus will be in the next movie. Though this may not excite you now, keep in mind that this news will also lead to Arceus’ official release in the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games.
