Nintendo has confirmed the Gold and Silver version remakes. HeartGold and SoulSilver are due out this Fall in Japan; that’s ten years after the games’ original release in 1999. Pokemon Japan has a page up announcing the games. Ho-oh, here we come!

I will now be able to replay one of the best pokemon games ever. I loved gold the first time and now heartgold, here I come. Let’s just hope this is good and that they don’t mess it up.

I’m not sure, I think I’m going to go with Gold. I mean, I like Lugia and Ho-Oh the same, but I’ve always been a Fire-type guy, myself.

Now my special pokemon off the Gamecube are not so special… Although seeing extra pokemon overworlds is a good sign. It shows that there might be more cutscenes and make it seem more realistic.
I can’t wait for the return of Dark pokemon in TCG though!

I don’t know which one I’ll get. I own Silver already so maybe I’ll get HeartGold so I can play Gold. Not sure though.
I hope they let you play as a girl in these games (you can’t in the original Gold and Silver).
