Pokémon has made the record books again, and this time it has nothing to do with PikaBelleChu.
The highly anticipated 12th Pokémon movie, roughly translated as Arceus: To The Conquering of Space-Time, set a record for being the most pre-sold animated movie ever. The film sold an amazing 2,384,198 pre-ordered tickets before its July 18th opening in Japan.
This is a significant turnaround for the movie series, as ticket sales have been on a steady downward trend ever since the Pokémon: The First Movie.

Well, you have to admit. This Arceus movie actually looks, you know, quite epic?
Epic indeed. The final movie of the Trilogy. This might be the best movie yet. We may never know
We will see it eventually here. Though the question is if the movies start to do better in theaters in Japan, will we ever see it in theaters here again?
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was so popular due to the Arceus give-away ingame lol; it is the ‘god’ Pokemon and all, and it will the the first way to legitimately get one
And I agree with Dragoon, I hope that if the movies continue to do better in Japan, they should be brought to other places of the world, event pokemon included
Epic is the right word for it.
LOL, Speaking of that I have to update my record for next years book, not as a big process as the first time but still tidious.
