Although the PokéWalker, the pedometer device for use with Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, has been confirmed for Japanese release for a while now, many have been skeptical that it would find its way to the US. We can now confirm that the PokéWalker will indeed be included with the American versions.
As a result of the inclusion of the device, the price tag is supposed to be a bit higher; likely around $39.99.
In addition, our source at The Pokémon Company International stated that it is unclear at this point whether the US will get the Lugia, Ho-oh and Arceus figures as preorder bonuses. On the bright side, our contact also said the US localization team is adamant about making sure we get everything Japan gets.
The generation 2 remakes are set for release in just days, on September 12th in Japan and spring 2010 in the US. Check back with us for new details and videos within the coming days.

Any news about the UK? I hope they are going to give us the same fair share of treats over here in England.
If it’s in the US, it’s in the UK.
Oh yes!! I’m SO preordering both of them!
@Elliot
Because the Pokemon company for the US and the Pokemon company for Europe joined together, I am pretty sure the dates and products are the same.
As for the article, I am totally psyched because I am a cross-country runner and I mow for an unoffical job so the Pokewalker will work well with my lifestyle.
COOL!
yeah pokewalker! but is it ethical if i strap it to my dog or like put it on a vibrating chair?
i am so getting a paint shaker….
“-BREAKING NEWS- Leading retailers across the world have noticed a rise in paint shaker sales. Experts blame Pokemon, and the general public thinks they’re crazy. That ends this bulletin.”
Anyway, I’m glad, although I figured they would all along.
i cant wait! omg i think i just peed my self!!!! lol
(jk total jk…. honestly…)
Ugh now m going to pay 100 dollers for it all 40 for both games plus 20 for the guide. Pluse even more for tax
YAYZ! I’ll use this SO much. 8D
Cool, now I have a use for that vibrating chair.

now i will actually have a reason to exersise!
that is amazing im so glad nintendo funally added another way to level up pokemon
may i add everything? what about pokemon barotto and the ranch update
So does that mean I have to retire the old GS pikachu who’s been through three batteries, been reset once, days==3148 / steps == 6,552,374?
The steps are low because he was on my desk at work and then I lost him for about 3 weeks during the fair one year. Someone found him (he’s got a dog tag attached) and sent him home. Admittedly, he’s not much to look at, having been chewed by a dog, necessitating some radical surgery, however his display is still bright and strong.
I admit, I’m rather attached to “him”!
BTW, thee old guy is color — Doesn’t look like the new one is. The colors are still remarkably clear, too.
I don’t know where you live, that you will get it for $40 with the Pokewalker, but I live in Nevada and it costs me $50 for a brand new Pokemon game. Now this means I am expecting to have to spend $60 or more on just one of these games. If you get it at some store for less than $60 please let me know.
YES. This is one of the biggest changes in the pokemon community in my opinion. I can’t wait
I’m terribly excited about this. Perhaps it will actually motivate me to exercise more…but probably not.
