I missed out on the Arceus event too. But im kinda upset that in Japan the event unlocked a hidden area in the game. Here in the U.S. they just give us Arceus. Kinda says to me, that the people behind the event don't see American trainers worthy enough to confront Arceus and battle him. So, they give us the easy way out and just hand him over.

Personally, I'm not really all to depressed i missed the event itself. Because I wouldnt have battled and captured the Alpha pokemon.

Sorry to burst your bubble but, the U.S. event unlocks the Shinto ruins also....and the event was just a guy in the pokemart handing you arceus.

Well then i guess i'll just walk on over to the corner here and pull my foot out of my mouth then. LOL. The way i read it was pretty much like the Pichu event. Just the guy and "Here ya go", type of deal.
